A proud member of your soccer community
Montana native, Andrew Kreiter, founded Stride Soccer with the mission to give back to the soccer communities in Montana, where he is from, and Washington state, where he resides. As a player, he navigated the recruiting process from a club in Billings, Montana to an out of state Div I program. He understands not only the uphill battle players face to get to the next level, but also the positive impact it can have on their future when they do.
For 16 years, Andrew and his wife Kelli (who played at the University of Washington) have coached top level youth soccer in Washington state while also supporting high school aged players from Montana, whether connecting them with their PNW collegiate connections, or guest playing them for academy teams over the years. Andrew and Kelli have started this venture to bring top collegiate soccer programs (DI to Junior College), throughout these areas (and nearby regions) with the goal of maximizing exposure and opportunities for these very talented and driven players!
Andrew has an extensive background and playing career. After winning the 2004 Montana AA state championship with Billings Senior High School, Andrew was awarded State Gatorade Player of the Year. The following summer, Andrew was luckily seen by a Seattle University assistant coach during a summer soccer tournament in Seattle, WA where the coaches were watching players from the opposing team. Andrew ended up getting recruited, and played all 4 years at Seattle University, earning Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He was the offensive MVP and team captain in his final 2 years for the Redhawks. After his college player days, Andrew was on the practice squad with the USL Sounders for 6 months, before signing with former USL2 club, Seattle Wolves for the next year and a half.
In 2011, Andrew decided to hang up the boots and go back to school, earning his Masters degree in Education in 2012. He has been teaching 5th grade and coaching ever since. He has coached at the state, DA, and ECNL levels, with his last team making the 2023 ECNL National Championship Semifinals. He holds a USSF National “C” Youth Coaching License.
Andrew and Kelli are incredibly proud to support Montana and Washington state soccer players, coaches and nearby colleges.
